"Will incessantly call you to come in and look at your coverage for ways to "save money". This is an attempt to sell you more products. Even though they will call you all the time, your agent will be conveniently busy when ever you need something. However my biggest gripe is with my coverage.

My coverage dropped because I got in two minor collisions over a span of 3 years. These are the only collisions on my record in 20 years of driving. I have 1 ticket for speeding from when I was 20 years old. And they dropped my coverage. They let me know early enough that that their underwriters have decided not to renew my policy, however, the dozen times I tried to contact my agent she was always gone or busy. The only time I got someone on the phone was when they called asking to bundle my home and auto insurance.

Additionally, what the underwriters say is not the law. My agent could have absolutely gone to bat for me and filed any sort of appeal, but she didn't. I've never missed a payment and up until recently, i had a flawless driving record. I only commute 10 miles a day. All my agent did was avoid me. Statefarm and this one in particular is just a headache."

"One if the worst Insurance experiences of my life. We moved from out of state and they didnt move our policy over propperly so we were double charged for months, they added a vehicle to our account that we were only getting a quote for instead of the one we bought. They didnt remove a vehicle that we sold despite being asked multiple times. We had a car stolen and totalled and we were greatly undervalued for the payout (statefarm is being sued for this right now btw). They wouldnt let us close the policy on the totalled vehicle until we came to an agreement on the pay out, which is not how that works at all. Selinas office dodged our calls, and deliberately didnt answer questions in emails. Finally had to go over their head to their corporate office to get things resolved. Also called another local sf agent and asked for a quote for the same vehicles to find she was drastically overcharging us the whole time. Run."

"My wife and I went through Selina for our car insurance. We had a billing error that Selina didn’t catch and over 3 months we were over billed by a total of $236. After many many emails we finally got about 150 back but never received the remaining $86 in credit. After several emails inquiring about the remaining credit Selena just started ignoring my emails. She was quite rude in some of the other ones and not good at following up or keeping us updated. She only really seems to care about selling people expensive life insurance policy’s to get the highest commission. Once we bought a house we switched to Farmers for our insurance and our car insurance went down by 50 dollars a month with better customer service."
